Fruit was uncrushed, destemmed, made in stainless steel tanks with 20% whole bunch cab mac, to retain freshness & lift the bright flavours of cherry & strawberry.
Vineyard
Our (clone mv6) pinot vines are north-facing, and nestled up on a hillside, which has made for a great growing environment, helping to get the right level of sun exposure and balance in flavour, acid & colour. There are varying soil types in this block, from the top to the bottom of the hill, developing different characteristics in the fruit and added complexity in the wine.
